The COVID-19 pandemic remains a significant challenge in California. Cases have increased fivefold in the past two months, and the Delta variant, which is highly contagious and possibly more virulent, is now the most common variant causing new COVID-19 infections in California.

As a result, NPU has implemented numerous security measures to stop the spread.

  1. On-campus attendance will be limited for the Fall 2021 term, and NPU will continue with the hybrid modality beginning in 2020 and previous 2021 terms.

  2. Staff will continue with temporary work-from-home operations until further notice.

  3. All faculty, staff and students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before September 16, 2021, to attend on-campus classes, events, and/or use the campus for any other reason.

  4. The use of masks will be required at all times inside the campus.

The COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, and as guidance from national and local authorities changes, other requirements may also apply in the future. NPU focuses carefully on the safety of our students, staff and community.
