CDC Publishes Safety Precautions Related to COVID-19 Holiday Safety, Then Resumes Them; Upcoming updates

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) withdrew its vacation safety recommendations.

Last weekend, the CDC released a list of safety precautions people should follow during the upcoming holiday season. However, he went back on his suggestions by removing them from his website on Monday.

“If you’re celebrating indoors, let in some fresh air by opening windows and doors, if possible,” says her guidelines for holiday celebrations. “You can use a window fan in one of the open windows to blow air out the window. This will bring in fresh air through the other open windows, ”the CDC said in its statement, which has now been deleted. He also said that if you are planning to reunite, limit the meetings to your immediate family.

“Host an outdoor celebration with everyone at least 6 feet apart,” the previous statement read.

Dr Anthony Fauci says the best way for everyone to stay safe while on vacation is to encourage more people to get vaccinated.

“The best way to make sure we’re in good shape as winter approaches would be to get more and more people vaccinated. This has been misinterpreted as my claim that we cannot spend Christmas with our families, which absolutely was not the case, ”Fauci said. “I’m going to spend Christmas with my family. I encourage people, especially vaccinated people who are protected, to have a good, normal Christmas with their families, ”said Dr Fauci.

In the meantime, the CDC is filing its guidelines for now. But, updates are coming.
